This remarkable journey will go through eight captivating countries across the Balkans in just 14 days. Delve into the region’s rich and complex history with no prior physical preparation required. However, please note that this tour may not be suitable for individuals with mobility issues.

City Tours and Physical Activity

City tours typically last between 2 to 3 hours and may involve stairs or short hikes, though participation is entirely optional. If you can handle long walks in the park, this tour should be well within your capability. Expect to spend approximately 4 hours per day on the bus, with exceptions on days 3, 5, and 8 when travel times are longer.

Visas and Border Crossings

Most nationalities can visit these destinations visa-free or with a multiple-entry Schengen visa. If you’re uncertain about your status, feel free to reach out to us for clarification.

Important for Malaysian passport holders: A visa is required to enter Serbia, along with select other nationalities. All border crossings are conducted by land via our company bus, with fast and straightforward procedures. Please ensure you send a scanned copy of your passport when booking, as the tour leader must present passenger details at the borders.

Accommodation

Your stay will be at mid-range standard hotels that ensure comfort and proper sanitary conditions. Many hotels are centrally located, providing easy access to restaurants and shops. Please be aware that some hotels may not have elevators, so consider your luggage size accordingly.

  • Check-in on Day 1 in Sofia is available from 14:00h. Early check-in is possible at an additional cost, subject to availability.
  • A detailed hotel list will be sent two weeks prior to departure along with other tour documents.

Transport

The bus size depends on the group size, and the same vehicle will be used throughout the journey. Always keep essential documents and valuables in a secure day backpack. In cities such as Dubrovnik and Kotor, local public buses or taxis will be necessary to reach the city center due to access restrictions for large buses. The tour leader will provide guidance for each destination.

Airport Transfers

Private airport transfers to and from your hotel are included on Day 1 and Day 14. Transfers outside of these dates will incur additional fees. Please note that transfers are only available between the airport and your scheduled hotel.
